Week 3's songs (第三週的歌)

我們學的歌都算老
所以在網路上就會出現不同的版本
我上課教的版本
都是以我能找到的音樂跟詞能搭得起來的
There you go.

1.
Row, row, row your boat (Short version)

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
If you see a crocodile
Don't forget to sream

2.
Row, row, row your boat (extended version)

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream

Row, row, row your boat
Life is but a dreamRow, row, row your boat
Gently down the brook,
If you catch a little fish
Please let it off the hook

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the creek
If you see a little mouse
Listen to it squeak

3.
I'm a little teapot

I'm a little tea pot
Short and stout
Here's my handle
Here's my spout

When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout
Just tip me over and pour me out

I'm a clever tea pot
Yes, it's true
Here's an example of what I can do
I can change my handle to my spout
Just tip me over and pour me out

I'm a little tea pot
Short and stout
Here's my handle
Here's my spout

When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout
Just tip me over and pour me out

Announcement for week 2 (Sep. 20)

Dear my class,

I'm really glad to meet you today. I really admire your learning attitudes. Some of you take the course not for yourself, but for your beloved children. Some of you take the course because you want to learn English through different material. Hopefully, this course can be helpful to you in the way you expect.

Here are some announcements and notification for Week 2
1. Remember to give me the list of your group members through leaving a message here. For example, Group 1, 王小明 (Johnson), 97DE000; 王小美 (Mary), 97DE199...

2. For those who haven't "introduced your partner", please get yourself ready for next week. (Pair groups 7 to 15).

3. Please remember to adapt the vowel song according to the vowel (a, e, i, o, u) of your group.
Here is the lyric:
Mary had a red red duck,
Red, red duck,
Red, red duck,
Mary had a red red duck,
And all it said is "e."

4. Please familiarize yourself with the children song "Baa Baa Black Sheep." I will randomly pick up 2 groups to sing for the class--A short presentation. It would be great if you can find out the history about this song. Here are three versions of this song. (Your group can pick up any one from the three versions for the short presentation for Week 2.)

First version. It's the one that you learned today:
You can find its music from the following link: http://www.ilovewavs.com/ForKids/Nursery/KidsNurseryRhymes.htm

The following is the lyric:
Baa baa black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags full.
One for my master,
And one for my dame.
One for the little boy who lives in the lane

Second version.
The music is slightly different, and so is the lyric.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBEHFFnV3RY&feature=fvst

Baa baa black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags full.
One for my master,
And one for his dame.
One for the little boy who lives in the lane

Third version.
The link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGTocoCUNeY
The lyric:
Baa Baa black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags full.
One for my master,
And one for my dame.
But none for the little boy who cries in the lane.
